K-Town Haul: Kikiricki Fried Chicken Flavored Drumstix
Thrillist pays a visit to the recently opened Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken. It looks like they switched up the style from both their Japanese Izakaya fried chicken and Brooklyn Bowl’s fried chicken. We are looking forward to testing out this honey situation.
It’s also served up with a piece of rosemary & sea salt toast, fries, and a slew of specialty honeys infused with the likes of wildflower, chipotle, and mustard. Apply liberally.

We finally made our first visit to Peaches Hot House for some Nashville-style hot chicken and it lived up to all the hype. Here is the entertaining back story for Nashville hot chicken.
Peaches chicken had the superb crispy & juicy we come to expect and the spice was added both to the flour as well as a dusting to finish it off. They offer a regular, hot, and extra hot which impacts the amount of dusting you get on your bird. I preferred the hot version but some friends thought the extra hot was pretty tame.
Big bonus points for $5 fancy cocktails during brunch aaand they have Crispy Grits which were basically tater tots. Worth a try!
Peaches is now one of our favorites in NYC and we look forward to heading back again soon.
